KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 – Renowned international speaker Prem Rawat says valuable findings from the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 incident will serve as a lesson and guidance for the flying public and airlines. “A tragedy like this does not go in vain; the lives that people lost are not lost in vain. Something good will come out of it that will go on to enhance the safety of airline passengers in the future,” he told Bernama here today.
Prem, who hails from India, is also an experienced pilot with 14,000 flying hours under his belt. He does not believe that any pilot would resort to a negative act while flying a plane. “I cannot imagine what the pilot had been going through, because no pilot gets himself in the airplane to cause harm to himself, his passengers and to the aircraft itself; it is all about keeping the ride smooth,” he said, referring to speculation that the crew could have sabotaged the flight.
Prem’s award-winning television series, entitled ‘Words of Peace’, are watched in 48 languages on television in 50 countries each week. The half-hour programme, which broadcasts the worldwide addresses of Prem, presents a unique perspective on the quest for personal peace and contentment in one’s life. Prem is currently on a tour in Malaysia to give talks in Segamat, Ipoh and Putrajaya.
