PUTRAJAYA, April 7 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had a four-eye meeting with his Singaporean counterpart, Lee Hsien Loong in conjunction with the fifth Malaysia-Singapore Leaders’ Retreat at the Prime Minister’s Office, Perdana Putra Building, here Monday. Later both prime ministers will attend a delegation meeting before holding a joint press conference.

The meeting is expected to discuss on the High Speed Rail Link between Kuala Lumpur-Singapore and the Singapore-Johor Bahru Rapid Transit System (RTS). Wisma Putra, in a statement, said the retreat was a platform for leaders of both countries to take stock of their bilateral co-operation. The retreat, the highest bilateral level for discussion, provides the leaders with an avenue to explore and discuss new initiatives and further collaboration. The last meeting took place in Singapore in February last year.
