MELBOURNE, April 11 – Malaysian Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin will be a key speaker at the second annual Malaysian Summit of Australia (MASA) here this month. Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, leader of non-governmental organisations, columnist and socio-political blogger is also expected to address the conference. To be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 21, the conference carries the theme ‘Bridging Ideas, Moulding the Future’. “MASA aims to gather people of diverse interests – students and non-students alike – in one place,” MASA media manager Ili Nazira Mokhtar said in a statement. “We aspire to build a strong and united Malaysian community in Australia while forging close relations with the Australian community,” she added. Other highlights will be the MASA Games and a Career Fair featuring several Malaysian companies such as Astro and Shell.
