KUALA TERENGGANU, May 7 – Kelantan-based coffee and cosmetics producer GLE Centre Enterprise aims to double its health drink sales to RM4 million this year from RM2 million last year. Managing Director Mohd Zulkifli Harun said the target is achievable based on the positive response to its products in Sabah and Sarawak, which it expanded into in March and which could generate gross sales of RM500,000 this year alone.

“Our strategy also includes appointing national football players Mohd Badhri Radzi and Ashaari Shamsuddin as brand ambassadors for our top selling product, the ‘Kopi Super Jantan’ pre-mixed coffee,” he told Bernama. Mohd Zulkifli said GLE Centre also has plans to penetrate the Indonesian market in the near future, and is in talks with several companies that are interested in goat’s milk products. He added the Bumiputera-owned company has no immediate plans to create new products, but is focused on promoting its current products including Super Cocoa Collagen Plus, a women’s health supplement drink launched earlier this year.
