PUTRAJAYA, May 16 – The Home Ministry (KDN) has denied appointing agents or representatives to handle the applications by foreign workers. Its secretary-general, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khalid Shariff said applications by foreign workers have to be personally done by the employers. “Therefore, if any party claims to be an agent or representative of the ministry, then it is not true,” he said in a statement, here Friday. Mohamed Khaled said the ministry views seriously public complaints about the involvement of a syndicate or agents in handling applications by foreign workers. “We (the ministry) will not compromise and will take action against any party involved directly or indirectly in activities of no integrity,” he added.
