KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4- Heavy traffic flow was reported as at 10.30 am today along several stretches of the North-South Expressway as city folk continue to head to their villages and hometowns to celebrate Aidiladha tomorrow. A spokesman of the traffic control centre of PLUS Expressways Bhd told Bernama traffic was moving slowly from Seremban to Nilai, Sungai Buloh to Rawang, Slim River to Sungkai and Bukit Tambun to Juru. “We believe the traffic will build up towards the evening as more people leave for their villages and hometowns,” he said.
He also said that traffic flow was smooth along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and the North-South Expressway Central Link or Elite Highway. Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) said traffic was moving slowly from the Gombak toll plaza towards Genting Sempah on the East Coast Expressway. She expected traffic build up along the highway in the evening.
