KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 – Some 140 residents of the Rita Welfare Home in Klang were today treated to new clothes by the AmBank Group Club (KAG) in conjunction with the Deepavali celebration Wednesday. A statement from the AmBank Group said the group comprising children, youths, single mothers, senior citizens and the disabled were taken to the Mydin Wholesale Hypermarket in Subang Jaya for shopping and then lunch.

The residents also received cash and the AmBank Group signature camel coin box each, presented by AmBank Group Financial Solutions executive vice-president, Ganesh Kumar Nadarajah. “Programmes such as this help us to foster closer ties with the less fortunate, in line with the AmBank Group’s objective to give back to the community,” he said.
