Strong Earth Quake In The North Of Molucca Sea, Indonesia
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 21 – A strong earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Ritcher scale occurred in the north of Molucca Sea, Indonesia at 6.10pm. The Malaysian Meteorological Department said in a statement here that the epicentre of the quake was 179 kilometres (km) north-west of Ternate, Indonesia and 991 km south-west of Semporna, Sabah. The quake, however, did not pose any tsunami threat.
