Najib Asks UPSR Top Scorers To Value Contributions Of Teachers, Parents

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in congratulating top scorers in this year’s Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination advised them to value the sacrifices and guidance given by their teachers and parents. The results were released today. “Congratulations to all who obtained excellent results in the UPSR.

“Don’t forget to say thanks to the teachers and who taught you and also your parents for their support,” Najib said in his Facebook posting today. In this year’s UPSR, 36,304 candidates or 7.89 per cent of the 460,407 candidates who sat for the examination scored straight As. This was was a 1.26 per cent drop as compared to 42,646 who got all As last year.
