KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 – Proton Holdings Bhd will offer a 20 per cent discount to the total repair cost of customers who suffered damages to their cars due to flooding. In a statement, the national car maker said it reactivated the “PROTON We-Care Prihatin Banjir” programme to alleviate concerns of flood victims throughout the country.
“The programme, which will run from today until March 15, 2015, will also include free inspection service, valuation of damages and towing assistance from the affected location to the selected 67 Proton service centres nationwide,” the statement said.
Proton Edar Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Norzahid Mohd Zahudi hoped the programme would ease customers’ burden, especially those whose cars were not covered by insurance for natural disasters.
