SHAH ALAM, Nov 26 – A mother choked on receiving his degree, Jacob Azrina chief flight attendant, flight crash victims Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17, at the convocation ceremony Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) here today.
Habibah Ismail, 65, who was accompanied by three other children, came from Alor Setar, Kedah to receive Bachelor of Mass Communication (Public Relations) submitted Pro-Chancellor, Tan Sri Dr Abdul Rahman Arshad.
The mother said, when queues together another degree recipients, feeling sad is not dammed again when the emcee announced the name of her second child of four siblings as next degree recipients.
“When on stage earlier, aunt choked improved especially when emcee tells the story of the tragedy MH17 before asking those who are in the hall gave al-Fatihah for the victims of the tragedy,” he told reporters. – Azrina, 41, enrolled in Distance Education (DE) in the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies UiTM when working with MAS and successfully graduated before a heartbreaking tragedy occurred.
Habibah was proud of his success, but disappointed because Azrina could not grasp the degree. MAS Flight MH17 flight carrying 298 passengers and crew on the way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was shot down in eastern Ukraine on 17 July. Boeing 777-200ER aircraft was carrying 43 people.
