Chinese Woman Accuses Jakarta’s Airport Security Officers Of Rape
BEIJING, Dec 28 – Two security officers at Jakarta’s international airport has been accused of allegedly raping a Chinese woman at the airport two days ago, prompting China to ask Indonesia today to probe the allegation.
Chinese Embassy’s consular section in Jakarta said the embassy is deeply shocked by the case and seriously concerned and has strongly asked Indonesian authorities to investigate the rape case immediately, reported Internet news portal www.saharasamay.com.
The embassy said the the victim flew back to China after reporting the case to police despite being requested to assist the authority’s investigation. The news portal reported that the Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport had made a public apology on the case and agreed to cooperate fully with the police investigation.
