KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 2 – Malaysia’s premium short-haul airline Firefly has launched its New Year promotion for domestic destinations at an all-inclusive price of RM50 one-way. The “Now That’s What I Call Flying” sales promotion will start from Jan 5, 2015 until Jan 18, 2015, for travel from Jan 19 onwards, Firefly said in a statement.

Tickets for Firefly international destinations are being offered on a promotional price starting from RM105 for destinations including Singapore, Krabi, Phuket and Koh Samui. “We are embracing the New Year spirit by offering Malaysians and tourists travelling within the country flight options for their warm weather escapes with various new services that we currently offer,” said Chief Executive Officer, Ignatius Ong.

Meanwhile, Firefly’s donation centre at Subang Skypark Terminal will be temporarily closed until tomorrow and will re-open on Jan 4, 2015. Another donation centre at the Penang International Airport will be temporarily closed from Jan 3-6, 2015 and is expected to re-open on Jan 7, 2015. All centres including at Sultan Ismail Petra airport will be officially closed on Jan 9 at 5 pm.
