KUCHING, Jan 8 – Shell Timur Sdn Bhd today confirmed that a number of its retail stations in Kuching & Miri are experiencing a shortage of Shell V-Power 97 due to a disruption in supply. Shell Malaysia Upstream communications advisor Zulkifli Baba Noor in a statement here today said the company was in touch with the relevant authorities to update them on the situation.
“All efforts are being put in place to restore supplies to the affected sites. We remain committed to providing quality service to our customers,” according to the statement. The RON 97 shortage here and in Miri was reported by several local media for the past few days and a random check by Bernama at some petrol stations here today found that the situation remained the same. However, RON95 and diesel supply are not affected.
