LONDON, Jan 25 – Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived here today (Sunday), (also Sunday in Malaysia) for a two-day working visit. The Prime Minister and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor who landed at the Luton Airport at 3.15am (11.15am Sunday in Malaysia) were greeted on arrival by Malaysian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Datuk Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi.
Najib will be walking down memory lane when he returns to his former college – Malvern College in Worcestershire – to officiate the Razak Science Centre there tomorrow. The centre consists of 18 state-of-the-art laboratories, including a showcase laboratory and extra prep rooms.
Najib pursued his secondary level from 1968 to 1971 at the college, a co-educational boarding and day school founded in 1865 and is one of the United Kingdom’s leading independent school. The Razak Science Centre was named after Najib as in the western culture he is known as Mr Razak then.
