60 Houses For Flood Victims To Be Built In Paloh

GUA MUSANG, Feb 21 – Sixty houses will be built by the National Security Council (MKN) for flood victims in three new settlements in the Paloh state constituency soon. Paloh assemblyman Datuk Nozula Mat Diah said the three settlements were the South Kelantan Development Authority (Kesedar) Land Development Scheme in Lebir, Kampung Susu Dara and Kampung Aring 2.

“Twenty houses, each costing RM48,000 will be built in each of the settlement, involving government reserve land on hill slopes and river reserves. “The recipients of the house are among flood victims living in squatter areas on the fringe of rivers and do not own land,” he said when met at his residence here, today. Nozula, who is also Kesedar deputy chairman, also urged flood victims, who had lost their homes and still living in camps, to be patient as the government would be building permanent homes for them soon.
