SEREMBAN, Feb 27 – Several areas in Jelebu and Seremban will experience water supply disruption for 24 hours starting March 3. Assistant manager of the Public Relations Division of Syarikat Air Negri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (SAINS), Norzita Ismail, said this was due to connection works, transfer of pipes, repair of treatment plants and cleaning of the pool.
“This work is among the ongoing efforts by Sains to improve the quality of the water supply in the interest of customers,” she said in a statement here, today. In Jelebu, the affected areas cover all of Mukim Ulu Klawang, Kemin, Tembun, Binjai, whole of Mukim Klawang, Pekan Kuala Klawang, Ulu Jelebu, Sarin, all of Mukim Ulu Triang, Petaling, Teriang, Gagu, Seperi, Ladang Jelebu.
Other areas affected are Semarak, whole of Mukim Peradong, Simpang Gelami, Pergai, Purun, Petasih Hulu, Petasih Hilir, Kerangai, Hospital Jelebu, Taman Irama, Jati, Chempedak, Nagamas and Taman Titi. In Seremban, it involves the whole of Pantai area and Sikamat.
Norzita said water supply will be connected after 24 hours and is expected to resume in stages. However, in some high areas, it would take longer, she added.
