KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 – A magnitude 6.0 earthquake jolted south Sumatra at 6.37pm Tuesday. The Malaysian Meteorological Department in a statement said the epicentre was 71km southwest of Siberut, Indonesia and 511 km southwest of Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. “Tremors could be felt in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. There is no tsunami threat to Malaysia,” the statement said.
