KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 – Gold futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher in thin trading today with only one contract month traded. At 9.16am, April 2015 rose four ticks to RM142.10 a gram while May 2015, June 2015 and July 2015 remain pegged at RM144.40, RM143.50 and RM144.25 a gram respectively.  Turnover stood at two lots while open interest amounted to 1,133 contracts. A 9.30am, physical gold was quoted at RM137.43 a gram, up 60 sen, from RM136.83 a gramme at 5pm yesterday.  – Bernama.
