PETALING JAYA, April 29 – One hundred and four Malaysians onboard a C-130 RMAF aircraft who left Kathmandu, Nepal last night arrived at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Subang, here at 12.30am this morning. The C-130 RMAF aircraft left the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal carrying the Malaysians who were not affected by the massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake that devastated the country on Saturday.

They were received by the families, relatives and friends. The massive earthquake struck Pokhara, a city near Kathmandu, at 2.56pm (Malaysian time) on Saturday, killing more than 5,000 and injuring more than 8,000 people. The earthquake has been described as the worst in Nepal’s history for the past 81 years.
