GEORGETOWN, Jun 8 – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng was respected to the former PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu’s which he was resignation from all of his posts in the state government. CM Lim was saluted to Mohamad Sabu to being a man of principle of the latter which Mohamad Sabu has no greed for power.

“Mohamad Sabu has obeyed the decision that made by the Dewan Ulama which is to cut down all ties with DAP although he has his own views. I feel sadly but I still understand and respect his decision. Seriously, I was very saluted to Mat Sabu that how he sacrificed himself for the party which is something we rarely see in PAS leaders nowadays,” CM Lim told the press conference after the Komtar Tower Run prize presentation.

“Any post left vacant by PAS members will be occupied by Malays. In the same time, Mat Sabu currently still holding the posts in Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) and Penang International Halal Hub. It will be a new challenge for the new PAS central executive committee to follow up on the issue on severing which has ties with DAP,” he added.
