BESUT, July 7 – Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived Kampung Raja here yesterday at 5.25 pm for visiting the Ramadan bazaar. He had spent 20 minutes touring the bazaar which has 200 trading stalls located at there. He took an opportunity to visit and chat with several stallholders. He also bought some food at there for his breaking of the fast.
He was accompanied by Terengganu MB Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman, Second Education Minister and Besut MP Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh as well as state executive councillors and several state assemblymen. “A stallholder whom Najib had bought food form he was expressed surprise at seeing the prime minister there and not taking any money from the PM but insisted on paying for the food,” said Zulkarnain Hassan, 32.
After visiting the Ramadan bazaar in Kampung Raja, PM was attended to Sekolah Menengah Imtiaz Besut in Bukit Kluang for the launching of a religious programme, hand over Aidilfitri goodies and break fast with the people. PM was scheduled to hand over Aidilfitri goodies to 1,200 poor children, orphans and disabled people in the Kota Putera state constituency.
In the same time, he also hand over a computer and a printer to chairmen of village development and security committees in the Besut district in the event. Meanwhile, PM was scheduled to join the people at Isyak and Tarawih prayers at the Ulul Albab Mosque in Seberang Jerteh. After all of the event, PM was scheduled to fly back to Kuala Lumpur from the Gong Kedak RMAF base in Bukit Puteri.
