GEORGETOWN, Jul 28 – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng who also DAP Secretary-General hold a press conference yesterday at Tun Abdul Razak Complex (Komtar) said he was agrees with Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on the statement of Barisan Nasional (BN) will lose for the 14th general election (Next Election).
“Muhyiddin was having a meeting in a Cheras Umno was just reflecting the reality in the country that BN now risked being defeated following the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal. It was not just only the issues that causing BN to lose support. The main issue of people angry are the dropped of ringgit’s value and the implementation of the goods and services tax (GST),” said CM Lim.
“In Muhyiddin’s statement was also reportedly the Umno was also suffering from a perception crisis over the RM42 billion 1MDB scandal. It will not be just only Umno alone suffering defeat because all those who supported 1MDB will go down as well and taking a swipe at former ally PAS who had previously made a remarks of perceived to be in defence of Najib,” he added.
