BEIJING, July 30 – A China spokesman says that they are in conducting to the further verification with relevant countries over a report that had related to a fragment of the wreckage which had washed up on the La Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean early Thursday.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei in a statement here Thursday said that they have taken the note of the report with further verification are still in conducting with the relevant countries. In the Chinese side, we will follow closely in this moment to verify how this plays out with properly handle follow-up on the matters.
The wreckage which had washed up on the La Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean early Thursday has been triggered speculation that it could belong to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 which had when missing for 508 days since last year March 8.
The Boeing 777-200ER was carrying 239 passengers and crew which mostly are Chinese from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing that had been scheduled to landed at 6.30am on that day was disappear in the radar screens shortly after taking off from Kuala Lumpur. Besides that, Malaysia on the other hand said that there was an expert team had sends to La Reunion Island to verify whether washed-up debris could be part of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
