KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 – Police are now investigating on the news portal Sarawak Report due suspicion of spreading rumors with alleged that exists draft charges against our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak. 

Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said that the investigation to the news portal because it’s threatening our system of parliamentary democracy in this the country, in accordance with Section 124 of the Penal Code.

Some police reports are began to be received since yesterday and the police will conduct an investigation against slander and baseless allegations,”he told press after a meeting of the Committee for the Management of Foreigners in Sabah at the Bukit Aman police headquarters, here today.

The meeting was lead by DPM, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also the Home Minister and attended by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman. Khalid affirmed denial of the Sarawak Report had been conduct by the AG Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali.
