KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 – Police arrested more than 20 individuals believed to be involved in conducting incitement against democracy to topple the government in a rally at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman here this afternoon. All of them were gathered at there on 2pm and shouted the words of incitement against the government in front of Sogo shopping center.
Dang Wangi police chief Asisten Komisioner Zainol Samah said that the police have been warned three times to all participants at first to disperse and avoid them hold other mishaps occur. Instead they continue to persist and shouted seditious words in public, forcing police have started to arrest most of the participants who was involved in the gathering.
Besides that, the actions of the participant was also resulted in the daily business activities of dealers in the area near the Sogo. In the same time, the activities also affected the people which causing severe traffic jams at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahmanwhich is also in front of Sogo shopping center.
