GEORGE TOWN, Aug 10 – Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said that the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will continue to maintain the existing state of leadership as it was chosen by the people through the democratic process. He said the police as a pillar of the country can not maintain stability faltered and easily manipulated because when there is a threat that could destabilize the country by spreading inaccurate information on social networking sites.
“Police will remain in honor of administration chosen by the people and we also will respect the choice of the people and together ensure that the government is appointed according to the constitution should be put in place. It is the responsibility of the police to ensure that the elected government to rule the country and remained prime minister chosen should be given the respect they deserve,” said Khalid.
“The police will also support policies and policies of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the cabinet appointed and will remain faithful to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in maintaining national harmony. The police is one of the pillars of the government and the country will be crippled if it did not uphold any of the provisions in the constitution and laws of the country,” he said.
“We will never allow our country is in a state of lame. In The same time, the police is a major milestone in the country and we always comply with whatever has been ordered by the law of the country. The police also did not prevent anyone who wants a change of government but must follow the constitution and the right way,” he added.
