KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 – The Bersih 4 rally on Dataran Merdeka seemed to lose momentum if there are participants who began leaving the scene at about 6pm. Also more and more players leave some spots repertoire, including the Masjid Negara, Pasar Seni and Brickfields.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Tajuddin Md Isa said he was satisfied with the security measures taken and the actions of the protesters because no provocation reports received so far. He said female tourist who allegedly assaulted by police in front of a hotel in the capital city actually fell down the stairs because of health problems.

Several opposition leaders were speaking at separate locations in Kuala Lumpur, as vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar and PKR Wanita Movement New Hope Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud, criticizing what they call poor administration by the leadership they claimed was managing the economy well.

In Kuching, police said 2,000 protesters gathered in the field of Song Kheng Hai without any untoward incidents recorded. The situation was reported to calm in the Public Garden Likas, Kota Kinabalu. Meanwhile, the participants of the rally in both locations began to disperse at 5.30pm and is expected to be back there tonight.

In the same time, Singapore police also have warned the public not to organize or engage in any illegal gathering in the republic for supporting the Bersih 4 in Malaysia. Bersih 4 Organizers have canceled the rally in Bangkok proposed as advised by the police and Thai military. Bersih 4 recommended reform group of Bersih 2.0 of voters who claim to fight for, among others, free and fair elections and clean government.
