SERDANG, Sept 1 – The Ministry of Housing and Local Government Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan said they will be billing the cost of cleaning worth RM65,000 to the organisers of the Bersih 4 in the near future. He added that this is a cleaning fee for the rally that took place in the city of Kuala Lumpur only and does not include the cost of the damage done by the participants.

“The cost of the damage, I leave it to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall to pay the bills to the Bersih organisers. After that, the participants urinary everywhere, behind the building, down the stairs and into a ditch. All we will bill it on this week,” he told reporters after launching the implementation of the Solid Waste Separation at the Source here Tuesday.

Concerning the presence of former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at the Bersih rally, Abdul Rahman said: “The presence of Tun M is very disappointing.I see (Tun M) was very angry. An anger can not think properly. Maybe Tun M can consult third parties”. However, Bersih 4 on Saturday and Sunday as police declared illegal rally organized by a group claiming among others was fighting for fair elections and clean government.
