BANGKOK, Sept 12 – Thai Government has contacted to the Chinese Government to seek the help to track down the suspected mastermind of the bomb attacks in Bangkok on August 17. Thai Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha confirmed this to media on Friday.

“It’s been contacted. We are in touch with all countries,”he told the media when asked whether Thailand had contacted the Chinese Government to help in the search for the suspect. The suspects were travelled to Bangladesh on August 16, the day before the bombings, as the main suspect was informed by a man who was detained at the Thai-Cambodian border last month.

According to a report on Friday, Bangladesh police said the suspect used the China passport has already left Bangladesh to China on August 30. On Thursday, Thai Interpol Unit chief, Police Major-General Apichart Suriboonya said Thailand had contacted Bangladesh Interpol as suspect was travelled to Bangladesh on August 16.
