PARIS, Nov 14 – Police who launched an assault on the Bataclan concert hall where at least 100 hostages are being held have reportedly killed two gunmen. Police confirmed that the operation is over. During the assault, witnesses reported hearing five successive explosions followed by gunshots around the venue. Earlier, police officials said at least 15 people had been killed inside the building in the 11th arrondissement.
As many as 100 people remain captive inside the Bataclan after a gunmen stormed a gig by rock band Eagles of Death Metal. The attack comes in a spate of terrorist attacks across the capital just hours after the death of ISIS executioner Jihadi John. Sources in France have said how people were being slaughtered one-by-one during the Eagles of Death Metal gig. Benjamin Cazenoves reports: There are still survivors inside the Bataclan.
