Woman Bit Tow Truck Runner Arm Who Stop Her To Jump Off Penang Bridge

GEORGE TOWN, Dec  29 –  A tow truck runner arm bitten by a woman when he was trying to stopped a distraught woman from jumping off the Penang Bridge. The drama unfolded at around 11am yesterday when the tow truck runner, who wished to be known only as Ah Heong, spotted the 30-year-old woman behaving suspiciously at Km2.8 on the island-bound side, The Star Online reported.

“The woman was stopped her Perodua Viva by the road side and had wanted to jump. I quickly managed to pull her to safety. The woman, who is from Bedong, Kedah, was very emotional and kept sobbing. The woman tried to escape and in the struggle she bit my arm,” he said.

Ah Heong then tied her legs to calm her down and asked her for her family’s contact details but the woman refused to give any information. She was later handed over to the police. This is not the first time Ah Heong had stopped someone from jumping off the bridge. In June last year, he had saved a 24-year-old man who had claimed that he wanted to have “a better view” of the sea.
