Human Remains Found In Plastic Bag In Putrajaya
PUTRAJAYA, Feb 12 – The skeletal remains of a man were found in a black plastic bag dumped in a drain near the Persiaran Utara Interchange in Precinct 7 here today. A Telekom Malaysia contractor made the gruesome find while he was inspecting the area for cable routes at about 10am, and informed the police.
Putrajaya Police chief ACP Rosly Hassan, in confirming the discovery, said the contractor detected a strong stench before seeing a suspicious-looking black plastic bag. Rosly said the victim’s identity had yet to be ascertained as what remained of the head was a skull and no belongings or documents. He said that the body, attired in just shorts and in a cross-legged sitting position, was taken to the Putrajaya Hospital.
