PUTRAJAYA, Feb 27 – The results of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2015 examination will be announced on March 3. The Education Ministry in a statement yesterday said candidates could obtain their SPM results from their respective schools after 10 am, while private candidates would receive their results by post or by contacting the State Education Department they registered with.
According to the statement, 440,682 candidates registered to sit for the examination at 3,501 centres nationwide. From the total, 379,466 candidates were students of government schools, government-aided schools and government-aided religious schools, 9,785 from schools under other government agencies, 7,769 from state religious secondary schools, 12,216 from private schools and 1,647 from private Islamic religious secondary schools, while 29,799 were private candidates.
The ministry is also providing the service of result checking via the short- message system (SMS) by typing SPM space identity card number space index number and send to 15888. The service will be activated from 10 am on March 3 and will cease operation from 11.59 pm on March 9.
