GEORGE TOWN, Feb 29 – Bryant Mak Chi Lok, 36, Hong Kong artist from Emperor Motion Pictures, had arrived in Penang here last Thursday for the filming of Shi Mian Zhou (The Curse of Insomnia). He will be staying in Penang for filming until the middle of next month.
Shi Mian Zhou is the second movie for him after joining Emperor Motion Pictures. Bryant, who was in Penang for the first time, said he likes the weather, friendly people, delicious food and well-preserved heritage buildings. He said he has been here since last Thursday, he walked around to try new food in Penang.
“I love Penang very much. I have eaten a lot of tasty food here, while Penang people are also very polite and nice. If I have a chance to travel again, I will prefer to visit Penang again. Meanwhile, I also prefer to travel to Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Genting as well. These few locations were my most memorable places when I was young,” said Bryant during the interview session.
For Malaysians who would like to visit to Hong Kong, he recommended them to visit Hong Kong shopping malls as they are the most famous places for tourists to visit. Penang has recently become a hotspot for film shooting. Last month, the world’s first Penang Hokkien movie, You Mean The World to Me, was shot here too.
