JOHOR BAHARU, March 26 – Six people died in an accident involving a factory van and a lorry at Jalan Seelong, Kampung Seelong Jaya, near Senai, here, early this morning. Johor Assistant Director of Fire Operations, Fire and Rescue Department, Mohd Rizal Buang said the accident at about 6 am killed three men and three women while three others were injured.
He in the statement on Saturday said that all the victims were still being identified. Those who died had been sent to Hospital Temenggung Kulai,” he said in a statement, here Saturday. It is learnt that eight of the victims were from the van while the other was the lorry driver. Mohd Rizal said their men are still at the location to clear up the debris following the accident.
