KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 1 – A continuation of full lane closure on Cheras-Kajang Highway will be conducted for a month starting Friday (April 1) to facilitate pier painting works. MMC-Gamuda KVMRT (PDP) Sdn Bhd in a statement Thursday said the repair works at KM14.4 until KM14.8 would commence from 10pm to 5am.
It said during this closure, the four lanes will be reduced to two lanes for 400 metres for both Kuala Lumpur and Kajang bound. According to the statement, the month-long closure would also be conducted on exit 702 and 703 of Cheras-Kajang Highway (Kajang bound and Kuala Lumpur bound) to facilitate the construction of MRT Suntex and Sri Raya station and pier painting works.
While lane closure at Exit 702 Hulu Langat is to facilitate crossing pipe culvert construction and reinstatement works at Suntex MRT station. The statement also said there would be a seven-day lane closure from April 1 at KM14 until KM14.7 of the same highway to faciliate the reinstating of lane marking works.
There will also be a continuation of short-term lane closure along Jalan Kuala Selangor (Subang bound and Kepong bound) for 14 days, starting April 2. The closure is to enable the painting works of the future MRT Sungai Buloh station, will be conducted from 11 pm to 5 am.
