KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 – Umno Veteran Malaysia urged Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to not entertain any accusations relating him to the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). Its secretary Datuk Mustapha Yaakub said the report tabled by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Parliament yesterday clearly indicated that the Prime Minister was not involved in the missing RM42 billion or accusations that he had used the money for his personal use.

Mustapha said they were in fact waiting for the confirmation of the report by PAC chief Datuk Hassan Arifin. Meanwhile, he in a statement Thursday said if anyone continued to accuse Najib after the PAC report, they want the Prime Minister to take legal action against them, whether it involves the 1MDB issue or the RM2.6 billion that was banked into his personal account.
