CM Lim’s Special Officers Lodge A Police Report Against Fake Tweet Issue

GEORGE TOWN, Apr 13 – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng special officers lodged a police report yesterday morning at at the Jalan Patani police station in Georgetown, Penang against the fake tweet of Lim Guan Eng that repel famous preacher, Dr. Zakir Naik from the homeland.

Special Officer to the Chief Minister, Mejar (B) Zaidi Ahmad told reporters yesterday morning, before lodge police report. Also present were Coordinating Officer AES (Economic Agenda Fair) and Special Duties, Abdul Wahab Long; other Parties and NGOs to support it.

Zaidi said in a statement urged the police to investigate the mastermind behind the persecution. The chirping fake twitter on behalf @cmlimguaneng it says, “Zakir Naik mesti disekat. Saya akan pastikan dia tidak masuk Pulau Pinang. Rakyat mesti tolak dan halau Extremist agama macam dia!” (Zakir Naik must be blocked. I’ll make sure he did not get in. The people must reject and expel Extremist religious like him!)

Accordingly, Guan Eng through his Twitter page early this morning described the case as persecution by the enemy. On the  tweet he said: “Slander! This fake tweet by enemies who use terrorist tactics. The police report will be made by my officials this morning.”
