KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 20 – An Indonesian woman has been remanded until Saturday to facilitate police investigations, in connection with abducting an 11-year-old dyslexic girl. Subang Jaya police chief, ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the 20-year-old suspect was nabbed at 9.30 last night with the assistance of the Ar-Rahman mosque congregation in Jalan Pantai Baharu near here.
The victim was found with the suspect when the latter was apprehended, he said when contacted by Bernama here. He said the woman had tried to check into a hotel but failed as she did not bring any travel document. She then decided to take the victim to the mosque to sleep when she was apprehended, added Mohammad Azlin. He said the victim was taken to the Serdang Hospital for examination. About 5am yesterday, the girl’s sister found her missing from the family home in SS19, Subang Jaya.
