PM Scheduled To Open Wisma Ceylonese In Seremban On Sunday
SEREMBAN, May 3 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is scheduled to open Wisma Ceylonese in Jalan Sungai Ujong here on Sunday. The three-storey building is owned by the Negeri Sembilan Ceylonese Association. NSCA president S. Kumarasamy said today Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan was also scheduled to attend the event.
He said they expect 5,000 people to attend the historic event. He also said that the building is the pride of the NSCA that was established in 1950. He told this to reporters here Tuesday. Kumarawamy said construction of the RM3.3-million building began in 2008 and was completed in 2011. He said the facilities at Wisma Ceylonese included a wedding hall, meeting and conference rooms and a library.
