Temporary Closure Of Counters At 5 Immigration Offices
PUTRAJAYA, May 18 – Passport counters at five Immigration offices will be closed temporarily this weekend. The Immigration Department in a statement here today said this was to ensure the process of putting in place the Malaysian International Passport using polycarbonate data page goes smoothly.
The offices involve UTC Johor Baharu, Kajang, Seberang Jaya, UTC Sentul and UTC Ipoh. UTC Johor Bahru will operate only until 5.30pm tomorrow and will be fully closed on Friday and Saturday (May 20 and 21). As for Kajang and Seberang Jaya, the offices will be fully closed on Saturday and Sunday (May 21 and 22). UTC Sentul and UTC Ipoh will be open on Friday but only until 5.30pm and close on Saturday and Sunday.
