Lim said he had written many letters to the Ministry of Transport on the proposed of the implementation cable car project, ‘Penang Skycab’, but no positive response received.
“I hope that Liow can be professional bit, don’t follow his own desires and passions. Why sabotage the development projects undertaken by the Penang State Government? Why want envy Penang until this stage, don’t revenge the Penang State Government, “he said in a press conference after the launch of the construction and upgrading of Jalan Paya Terubong paired
road from Lebuhraya Thean Teik to Lebuh Bukit Jambul by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng at Bukit Jambul.
“Until now, only the Penang Port Commission (PPC), which object to execution the related projects. Although PPC rejected the project, but we still have some are agreed while others still not yet responded. Why Liow to talk illogical thing, it doesn’t make sense,” he said.
Earlier, Liow in his statement said the Penang Government’s proposal to implement a cable car project known as Penang Sky Cab did not get the green light from the Penang Port Authority (LPPP) for fear it might affect port activities and make the ship difficult to turn.
