GEORGE TOWN, Jun 4 – The Penang government will reward each registered Ibu Emas in the state RM100 under the Ibu Emas Appreciation Programme by June 6, 2016 (Monday). Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said there were a total of 54,000 registered Ibu Emas will receive the payments of RM100 on this Monday.
“This is honour for the women who did not work and decided to become a full-time housewife. I hope that this annual contribution will be fully utilized by 54,000 beneficiaries this year,” Lim told the reporters in the press conference after the launch of Project Development and Upgrading of detached road at Bukit Kukus here this morning.
“All the Penang Pakatan Harapan Assemblyman will be help up on this program. For those who have not registered yet, you can do so through any of the Penang Pakatan Harapan Assemblyman’s Office and the Office for the Coordination KADUN respectively,” he said.
