GEORGE TOWN, Jul 20 – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng announced today that the Penang yet to decide on snap polls, more time is required for the state government to have further consultation with Pakatan Harapan allies before the final decision is made.

Lim made this announced at a press conference in Komtar here today after one and a half hours meeting with Pakatan Harapan assemblymen and leaders, including Penang DAP chairman Chow Kon Yeow, PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar, and PKR co-elections director Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

“There will be no unilateral decision by DAP on this. We will continue to consult with our Pakatan partners. Therefore, in the spirit of the coalition partners, we should allow space for discussions; we can’t force it through. We will inform once it is finalised,” he said.
