Pahang DOE To Introduce Awareness Programmes To Preserve Environment
KUANTAN, Jul 27 – The Pahang Department of Environment (DOE) plans to introduce awareness programmes to educate the people about the importance of preserving the environment. Its director Rosli Zul said among programmes lined up include a seminar on Guided Self-Regulation (GSR) for industry players organised by the Pahang DOE Sports and Recreation Club.
He said the objective is to create awareness and urge industries to be responsible in preserving the environment and the DOE will serve as a guide to achieve the desired results. Rosli was speaking to reporters at the closing of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) seminar here yesterday. — Bernama
