GEORGE TOWN, Aug 13 – The launching of Penang Coffee & Desserts Festival 2016 (PCDF2016) was held at the Atrium of Gurney Paragon Mall on Friday morning with the present of Penang Deputy Chief Minister I YB Dato’ Haji Mohd Rashid Bin Hasnon.
This festival was organised by TLM Event Sdn Bhd, co-organised by Gurney Paragon Mall and in collaboration with Barista Guild Asia, Frank Laurent Coffee Roasters, Hillkoff Coffee & Coffex. The 3 days festival was held at the Atrium of Gurney Paragon on 12-14 August 2016.
PCDF2016 three-day event which starting from Friday, with more than 25 coffee and dessert specialists participating from local and aboard. This was the 3rd time TLM Event Sdn Bhd organising Penang Coffee & Desserts Festival, with the first in November 2015, followed by the second instalment in March 2016, while both at Penang On 6.
PCDF2016 is designed distinctively to celebrate the blossoming of the varieties of exotic coffee, granting coffee lovers the luxury of being introduced to the latest products and services, as well as enhancing and encouraging the growth of the coffee and dessert industry in Penang.
Also present were Hunza Group founder Datuk Seri Khor Teng Tong, Hunza Group Managing Director Khor Siang Gin and TLM Event Sdn Bhd Executive Director Aleex Quah in the launching of the PCDF2016 three-day event at the Atrium of Gurney Paragon Mall.
PCDF2016 is the largest coffee event in Northern Malaysia, and boasts numerous events designed to not only satisfy the coffee connoisseur, but also the layman who wishes to learn more about coffee. PCDF2016 features more than 45 exhibitors from Penang to Kuala Lumpur who have each established themselves in a special niche by offering innovative or exclusively unique products and services.
Be it nitrogen infused popcorn or specialty blend coffee, the range of products available will suit the taste of any gourmand. In the meanwhile, there were also a coffee painting by Vivian Lees Art. PCDF2016 has brought in international coffee brands to showcase their expertise. Businesses from Spain, Italy, Thailand and more will be coming to show off their respective countries’ coffee.
