GEORGE TOWN, Sept 23 – Business Baking Classes 2.0 will open for registration from today onwards because of the popular demand of the previous classes, the baking classes is organised by Briged Wanita KADUN KOMTAR together with Say Cakes Sdn. Bhd.
Penang State Assembly member for Komtar, YB Teh Lai Heng together with Chef and Director of Say Cakes Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Andies Teh had held a press conference on Thursday night 22th Sep at 1926 Heritage Hotel regarding the coming business baking classes.
The Business Baking Classes 2.0 will be held at Monroe Café, 1926 Heritage Hotel for two months from 4th Oct to 30th Nov 2016 on every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7pm to 10pm which comprises of 16 classes. In order to reach more people, the duration of the Business Baking Classes 2.0 will be shortened to 2 months compare with the previous classes which is 3 months, from 1st Sep to 30th Nov 2016 on every Monday and Thursday.
On the other hand, the duration of every class will also increase from 2 to 3 hours. Teh said that the Business Baking Classes 2.0 (worth RM3800) is only limited to 10 to 12 participants, the learning fee is RM1,200 and RM150 (Tools) per person. The priority will be given to women, especially single mothers and etc., special allowances will be given to women in these categories.
He hopes these classes would lead those who have passion in baking and help those people, especially housewives and single mothers to earn extra income. He added that Briged Wanita KADUN KOMTAR also welcome women to join as member to strengthen the influences of the organization, also to increase women capacity to participate in the decision making.
Andies Teh, who has 10 years of experience in Cakes Baking industry and culinary in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Australia said participants will be expose to Theory of baking, Healthy Food Making, Cake Decoration, 30 cake recipes, Business Model, Market Strategies and Cake Examination.
