BATU KAWAN, Nov 24 – The largest Premium Outlet Mall called Design Village Penang’s outlet mall serving the northern region has officiated by Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng at Bandar Cassia, Batu Kawan, Penang here this evening. Its has the best brands and value await eager Penangnites as well as the hundreds of thousands of holiday-makers that throng this Unesco World Heitage City.
The 10.1 hectare mall, located close to the landing point of the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge here, houses a diverse selection of brands, with 150 stores built on 400,000 sq ft within a tropical garden. The outlet mall built by PE Land (Penang) Sdn Bhd and marketed by Savills Malaysia.
Bandar Cassia on the mainland is one of the many important future drivers of Penang. It is destined to be a catalyst for the economy and it is attracting the biggest platers like EcoCity, Paramount, Ikea and Aspen and PE Land, the developers of Design Village.
