GEORGE TOWN, Dec 8 – The management of the Penang Hill Corporation had been announced in the statement on today that the Penang Hill Funicular service will be closed from 9 – 18 January 2017 (10 days) for annual preventive maintenance works, and shall resume business back on January 19, 2017. Visitor can opt for alternative routes via the Jeep Trackfrom Botanical Garden or the existing hiking routes to the top of the Penang Hill.
